WonderWorks inc. has built Apollo, Mercury, Gemini, Space Shuttle, SpaceX Dragon and now CEV - Orion space craft for nearly every major film and TV show that features real space for more than 40 years. These include Apollo 13, Transformers II, etc. See our Movie Credits for more. The pictures shown here are of our own sets and suit construction and are verifiable as such. We do not use real NASA photos and claim them as our work. The other pictures are of items in stock and for rent unless otherwise specified. We are currently building full scale simulators and replicas of the NASA ORION, CEV (Crew Exploration Vehicle), CST, SpaceX Dragon and ALTAIR/ Lunar Lander Module (LEM). We are also contemplating a replica somewhat similar to the SpaceX Dragon that would include design elements similar to that of several of the current designs for privatized use.
Since it's inception WonderWorks™, Los Angeles, has been creating and renting accurate replicas of the Space Shuttle as well as fantasy spacecraft for TV and film. Many of our rent items use real space flight hardware modified to be user friendly for production. Technicians are not needed on location. WonderWorks™ has rentals for every American manned mission. Our full sized replicas of the Orion CEV and XPrize/ Burt Rutan - SpaceShip One takes us further into the future of space. We have a similar capsule exterior, real space suits and fully functional Space Shuttle mid-deck/ quarters ready to rent.
